Description
Start Date: February 10, 2026
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends (minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule); 6-12 staff per shift; 30-40 units of therapy per shift; voluntary adult unit float opportunities
Highlights:
- Comprehensive pediatric respiratory care across multiple specialty units including Pediatric ED, PICU, PIMC, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Oncology/BMT, and Level 4 NICU
- State-of-the-art equipment including Servo U ventilators with NAVA, Avea ventilators, V60 noninvasive, Vapotherm, and advanced airway clearance devices
- Collaborative team environment with supervisory support and defined shift leadership
- Diverse case mix including nebulizer therapy, airway clearance, BiPAP, mechanical ventilation, HFNC, bronchoscopy assistance, and arterial blood gas analysis
- Electronic medical records system (Meditech)
- Professional dress code with designated scrub colors
Requirements:
- Active CRT or RRT credential
- Valid Texas RCP license
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of PICU or Level 3/Level 4 NICU experience required
- Strong team collaboration skills and flexibility
