Start Date: March 23, 2026
Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week, 13-week contract

Highlights:

• Work on a 35-bed adult medical-surgical/telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:6-7
• Collaborate with a diverse, team-oriented nursing staff supported by CNAs and discharge coordination
• Utilize Epic charting system, Pyxis, and SBAR communication protocols
• Float to sister units as needed based on census and clinical needs
• Every other weekend requirement with flexibility for 36 or 48-hour weekly schedules
• Access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact) required at start
• Current certifications: BLS (required), ACLS (required), NIHSS
• Strong telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Experience with blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, and non-invasive airway management
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must complete 36 hours of unit orientation plus hospital orientation during first week
