Location: West Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; every other weekend required; 36 or 48-hour contract options available

Highlights:

• Emergency department setting with 5 primary beds plus 2 endoscopy beds
• Patient ratio of 1:4; care for diverse patient populations across all age groups
• Cerner EMR system; 16 hours of orientation provided
• Orientation held every other Thursday; flexible scheduling with option to submit blocked time-off requests
• 36 hours guaranteed per week with contract flexibility
• Diagnostic services include EKG, respiratory monitoring, nuclear medicine, radiology, suturing, and splint application

Requirements:

• Active West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license acceptable for submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; 1 year in-specialty (Emergency Room) experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS certifications (American Heart Association); PALS and TNCC preferred
• CPI certification required (can be completed through approved vendor)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only with documented proof from physician or allergist)
• Strong skills in continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, triage, and care of ventilated patients
• Minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references from within the past 2 years
• Must reside more than 100 miles from facility location (75-99 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Clean, active nursing license with no prior suspensions
