Schedule: 8-hour shifts; every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment with non-billable orientation
• Focus on educating RNs in operating room circulation for cesarean sections within Family Birthplace unit
• Meditech Expanse EMR system (strongly preferred experience)
• Very high proficiency in Labor & Delivery and C-section circulation required
• Collaborative teaching environment in perinatal services
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from facility location

Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree required
• 3+ years of current RN Educator experience in the perinatal field
• Demonstrated experience educating RNs on circulating in the OR for cesarean sections
• High proficiency in Labor & Delivery and C-section circulation (straight L&D experience alone will not be considered)
• Current certifications required prior to start: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NRP
• Current COVID vaccination (dose on or after October 3, 2023) or approved exemption
• Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency license (Nursing Pool) required
• Reliable transportation required
• Recent supervisory reference and current skills checklists for Educator and Labor & Delivery roles
