Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 36 hours per week, every other weekend required

• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6-7 on night shift

• Floating may be required as needed based on facility census and patient care needs
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 2 years of PCU/Telemetry experience

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry and PCU/Stepdown experience required
• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIH Stroke Scale preferred
• Demonstrated competency in interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias and remote monitoring
• Experience with pre/post cardiac catheterization care, post cardiac surgery care, and arterial sheath removal
• Proficiency with central lines, PICC lines, port access, blood product administration, and cardiac drip titration (Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Dopamine)
• Must pass facility EKG testing prior to assignment start date
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
