Start Date: March 16, 2026
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week

Highlights:

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit with 1:5-6 patient ratios and 24-hour orientation period
• Treat diverse patient diagnoses including diabetes, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, GI bleed, hip fractures, and COVID-19
• Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and comprehensive interdisciplinary support
• Accepts first-time travelers with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• 13-week assignment with maximum 7 days of approved time off
• Weekend requirement of 12-16 shifts per contract with floating as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience
• Experience with 1:5-6 patient ratios preferred
• Core skills required: telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insertion and management, blood product administration, wound care, feeding tube management, colostomy care, insulin protocols, chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, isolation precautions, and wound vac management
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Availability for hospital orientation during first week and completion of 8-10 hours of pre-start modules
