Start Date: March 2, 2026
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; 40 hours per week available; no call, no float, no weekend requirements

Highlights:

• Minimum 13-week contract with predictable weekday schedule and no on-call responsibilities
• Comprehensive wound care role including ostomy management, pressure ulcers, venous/arterial ulcers, and wound VAC therapy
• Work with diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Epic EMR experience required; hospital and pediatric setting experience essential
• First-time travelers accepted; local candidates considered
• Navy scrubs required (candidate provides own)

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience required
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• WCC (Wound Care Certified) or WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse) certification required
• Hospital and pediatric experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• NC or Compact state RN license (must be in hand at time of start)
• Extensive wound care skills including all stages of pressure ulcer management, debridement techniques, advanced dressing applications, and wound VAC therapy
• Demonstrated competency in ostomy care including colostomy/ileostomy management, stoma types, and equipment selection
• Proficiency with skin integrity assessment tools including Braden scale for adult and pediatric populations
• G-tube/J-tube site care and feeding management experience
• Strong patient and family teaching abilities
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
