Description
Start Date: March 2, 2026
Location: Hackensack, New Jersey
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM to 6:00 PM) with on-call requirements once per month including weekends; holiday coverage as needed
Highlights:
- Assist with interventional radiology procedures performed in IR, CT Scan, and Ultrasound departments
- Manage complex patient care including conscious sedation, titrating drips, and ventilator management
- Utilize advanced bar-scanning and electronic documentation technologies for medication administration and point-of-care charting
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team focused on safe patient transitions and continuity of care
- Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health outcomes
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care in a dynamic acute care environment
Requirements:
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Active New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
- 2-3 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Acute care experience with competency in conscious sedation
- Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum six (6) months of relevant nursing experience
