Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Schedule: 4x12 hour shifts, every other weekend required. Floating between NICU, PICU, and Pediatric Acute Care units as needed.

Highlights:

• Specialized pediatric respiratory care in critical care and labor & delivery environments
• Primary assignment in Labor & Delivery with cross-training opportunities in NICU and PICU
• Home unit assigned upon arrival (NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics) with flexibility based on facility needs
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate qualifications
• Potential floating to affiliate locations within the health system

Requirements:

• Indiana State License required (temporary license accepted if permanent application is submitted)
• Active NBRC RRT credential
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• NRP certification required for Labor & Delivery placements (can be obtained after offer)
• PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years strongly preferred; candidates with recent Level I Adult Trauma facility experience may be considered
• Labor & Delivery respiratory experience required
• Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• Proficiency with pediatric ventilators, nitric oxide therapy, inhaled medications, and advanced airway management
• Two supervisor references required
