Description
Start Date: March 23, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour evening/night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend, some holidays may be required
Highlights:
- 12-bed neuroscience critical care unit supporting both IMC and ICU level of care
- Care for adult and geriatric patients with stroke, traumatic brain injuries, cerebral aneurysms, and other neurovascular conditions
- Epic EMR system with experience preferred within the last 12 months
- Patient ratio of 2:1 across all shifts
- Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence with nationally recognized neuroscience programs
- Magnet-designated facility ranked as Wisconsin's #1 hospital
Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin RN license or compact license from permanent address state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years; ICU experience required
- Neurosurgery experience strongly preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association only
- Basic arrhythmia experience; must pass telemetry exam prior to start
- Epic charting experience required
- Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
