Highlights:

• Care for medically delicate and surgically complex patients including respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications
• Average patient load of 3 high acuity patients in a progressive critical care environment
• Competency in advanced hemodynamics including pressor titration protocols, antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, and invasive monitoring
• Experience with arterial lines, CVP, EVD, orthopedic traction, HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxypendent systems
• Epic EMR system utilized; proficiency required
• Competency assessment required within 24 hours of application submission

Requirements:

• Current New York RN license or eligibility
• Epic EMR experience required
• ACLS certification required
• Demonstrated competency in medical and surgical patient populations
• Large-scale adult PCU experience or community hospital ICU experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in infection prevention protocols and complex critical care interventions
