Description
Start Date: March 16, 2026
Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment with flexible scheduling options of either 4x10s or 5x8s. Includes one weekday call per week and one weekend call every two months. Convenient closer parking available during on-call shifts.
Highlights:
- Work in a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center with tertiary care status
- Advanced interventional radiology procedures including vascular interventions, oncology procedures, TIPS/BRTOs, and aortic interventions
- 8-room department plus 2 OR suites with modern equipment including Siemens systems
- Epic charting system experience required
- 16 hours of orientation with structured onboarding modules
- Float opportunities to OR suites to expand skill set
Requirements:
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Virginia state license required (may submit with pending license; can work under temporary authorization)
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Epic charting system proficiency required
- Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
- Required procedural experience: dialysis fistulas, contrast administration, biopsies, ablations, and peripheral interventions
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
