Location: Augusta, Georgia

Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; patient ratio 1:4-5

Highlights:

• 36-bed progressive telemetry unit with average daily census of 35 patients
• Adult to geriatric patient population with diverse cardiac and medical diagnoses
• Epic charting system required; experience with Pyxis and SBAR communication
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• No call requirements; floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certification required; NIHSS preferred
• Epic charting system experience mandatory
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and management of cardiac drips (no titration)
• Experience with post-cardiac procedures including catheterization, device implants, and cardiac surgery
• Ability to manage insulin protocols, feeding tubes, wound care, and various line management
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at submission
