Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts; self-scheduling with requests reviewed every 4 weeks; weekend coverage variable based on unit needs

Highlights:

• Mixed acuity 36-bed surgical oncology unit caring for both PCU and Med/Surg patients
• Staffing ratios typically 1:4, maximum 1:5
• Diverse case mix including breast, thyroid, melanoma, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and reconstructive plastics
• Experience with chemotherapy, blood transfusions, oncologic emergencies, insulin/heparin drips, and chest tube care
• Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, PT, respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response
• 72 hours of orientation including preceptor support

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience; at least 1 year of current PCU specialty experience required
• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy care, and chest tubes
• Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• 2 professional references: at least 1 from manager/director or formal leadership role
• Willingness to float to other acute care oncology units as needed
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
