Start Date: March 23, 2026
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; maximum 7 days requested time off

Highlights:

Renal Medical-Surgical unit with adults to geriatrics patient population
1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio; 49-bed unit with average daily census of 48
Epic EMR system required; also utilizes Pyxis and SBAR protocols
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and rapid response teams
First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience
12 hours of orientation provided; bi-weekly orientation schedule

Requirements:

Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; renal medical-surgical experience strongly preferred
Epic charting system experience required
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, IV management, blood product administration, pre/post hemodialysis management, wound care, oxygen therapy, and isolation precautions
Experience with central lines, PICC lines, chest tubes, feeding tubes, and surgical drains
Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at submission
