Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week; weekdays and some weekends with rotating holidays

Highlights:

• Work with a diverse patient population including renal, hepatology, cardiology, pulmonology, and specialty adult cystic fibrosis patients
• Manageable 1:3 patient ratio on nights
• Epic EMR system in use
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, and more
• Float opportunities within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels
• 36 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring required
• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) in hand at time of submission
• Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, titration of insulin drips, central and peripheral line care/management, heparin protocols, cardiac drips management, high flow nasal cannula
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director
