Location: Humble, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM with call coverage after 3:00 PM and weekend call; 1:1 patient ratio

Highlights:

• Dedicated cardiothoracic service line with open heart procedures in a 14-OR surgical department
• Complex case mix including CABG, valve replacements, Impellas, pericardial windows, and ECMO
• Collaborative team environment with 8 staff members (4 RNs, 4 Techs) supporting specialized cardiac surgery
• Cross-training opportunities with other service lines including trauma, general, GYN, urology, orthopedics, neurology, and plastics when open heart cases are not scheduled
• EMR system: Meditech
• Call assistance provided for holidays and weekends

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas
• Open heart surgical experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Cardiothoracic service line experience required
• Experience with other service lines (trauma, general, GYN, urology, orthopedics, neurology, plastics) preferred
• Demonstrated dependability and flexibility
