Start Date: March 23, 2026
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend; rotating holidays per policy
Highlights:
- Renal Medical/Surgical specialty unit with adult to geriatric patient population
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6 on a 49-bed unit with average daily census of 48
- Epic EMR system required; experience with Pyxis and SBAR communication preferred
- 13-week travel assignment with up to 7 days of requested time off (blackout dates apply)
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and more
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of nursing experience
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact State RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience; renal medical/surgical background strongly preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with telemetry monitoring, central line management, hemodialysis care, wound care, chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP, and IV therapy
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Two supervisory references from Manager level or above required at submission
- Willingness to float within facility and scope of practice as needed
