Schedule: Day shifts with call coverage required. Weeknight backup call 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM Monday through Friday. Weekend call 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM Saturday and Sunday (may be primary or backup). Holiday call 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM as needed. Daily census approximately 10 patients across 3 procedure rooms.

Highlights:

Neuro and vascular interventional experience required; diverse case mix including biopsies, embolizations, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, and stroke interventions
Scrub experience required for interventional procedures
EMR: Cerner preferred; experience with Siemens equipment required
Orientation: 40 hours; two blocks of pre-approved time off available
Must reside within 45-minute radius for call-back requirements
Contract length up to 365 days; Trauma Level I facility preferred

Requirements:

Valid Maryland state radiologic technologist license or compact license required at time of submission (pending license acceptable for submission but must be active prior to start date)
ARRT (R) and ARRT (VI) certifications required
Fluoroscopy permit required
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Advanced EKG skills and ability to perform EKG lead placement
Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience
Neuro and vascular interventional experience required
Previous scrub experience required
First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
