Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey

Schedule: Full-time, includes approximately 32 hours on-call per month and one weekend per month with 24-hour call coverage both days

Highlights:

• Perform scrub and circulating duties for open heart adult surgery cases including CABG and valve procedures (aortic, mitral, and pulmonic)
• Specialized CVOR caseload featuring TAVR, laser lead extractions, and experience with advanced devices including Impella, HeartMate, and ECMO
• Float to Main OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled, offering diverse experience across cardiovascular procedures
• Hospital-provided scrubs and no block scheduling requirements
• Local candidates welcomed at the same rate as travel assignments
• Average 18 hours of non-billable pre-start modules including EPIC training

Requirements:

• Active New Jersey or Compact State RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of perioperative nursing experience; first-time travelers may be considered with highly relevant experience
• BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred
• Scrub experience for open CVOR cases and TAVR procedures is required
• Proficiency with cardiovascular devices and equipment including Impella, HeartMate, ECMO, and IABP
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Ability to float within skillset and work flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
