Description
Start Date: April 13, 2026
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Call requirement includes one night per week and every third weekend. Weekend coverage required every third weekend.
Highlights:
- Work in two state-of-the-art endovascular hybrid suites within the operating room environment
- Scrub into complex endovascular cases, assisting surgeons during advanced vascular procedures
- Operate and maintain Siemens equipment and utilize PACS imaging systems during procedures
- 1:1 patient ratios providing focused, high-quality patient care
- Two-week comprehensive orientation (80 hours) to ensure successful onboarding
- Scrubs provided by the facility
Requirements:
- ARRT certification (R and VI OR R and CV) required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in interventional radiology or related specialty
- Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
- Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Proficiency in endovascular interventions, angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, and vascular closure systems
- Experience with fluoroscopy, C-arm operation, ultrasound, and PACS systems
- Strong skills in sterile technique, equipment setup, maintaining sterile fields, and prep of access sites
- Competency with laser-assisted procedures, inferior vena cava filter placement/removal, carotid stenting, dialysis graft interventions, and thrombolysis/thrombectomy
- Experience with Siemens and/or Philips equipment platforms
- Epic and Pyxis system experience preferred
- North Carolina or Compact state license (pending acceptable for submission; must be in hand at start)
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
