Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend required. Floating as needed to similar units based on census and staffing needs.

Highlights:

• Med/Surg patient population with telemetry monitoring experience required
• Target nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 during normal staffing (max 1:7 during high census)
• 13-week contract with 24 hours of unit orientation provided
• Self-scheduling system for greater flexibility and work-life balance
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system experience required; additional systems include Pyxis and SBAR

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license (must be in hand at time of start)
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale preferred
• Epic EMR experience required (must be documented on application)
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Must successfully pass EKG testing prior to assignment start date
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
