Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period

Highlights:

• Work in a Magnet-recognized, Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Care for adult trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology patients requiring frequent monitoring and interventions
• 13-week assignment with exposure to ICU transfers, direct admissions, and Rapid Response escalations
• Epic EMR charting system; access to advanced equipment including Hercules patient repositioners, ceiling lifts, and Airtaps
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, and more
• Paid orientation and module completion (up to 16 hours reimbursable)

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina or multistate nursing license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 completed travel assignment
• Previous IICU or ICU experience with 1:3 acuity required; progressive care settings such as PCU, DOU, IMC, or Stepdown may be considered based on unit acuity
• 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and telemetry
• Experience with titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Ventilator management experience required
• Must be located 100+ miles from the facility to qualify for full compensation (exceptions and adjusted rates apply for certain distances and shifts)
