Description
Start Date: April 20, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (days, nights, or a combination); shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on unit needs
Highlights:
- Specialized bone marrow transplant unit focused on autologous, allogeneic, syngeneic transplants, and CAR-T therapy
- Mixed acuity progressive care and medical-surgical oncology unit with 36 beds and average daily census of 33
- Care for complex hematology and oncology patients including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and myelodysplastic syndromes
- Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
- 72 hours of orientation provided; float to other medical-surgical oncology units as needed
- Extensive infection prevention protocols and patient safety focus
Requirements:
- Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience; at least 1 year of current medical-surgical and oncology experience required
- Experience must be within the most recent 3 years
- BLS certification (current)
- ONS or ONCC Chemotherapy Certification (required)
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- Experience with BMT, graft-versus-host disease, graft rejection, stem cell therapies, and sepsis management
- Proficiency in telemetry interpretation, blood product administration, central line care, port management, and chemotherapy administration
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager or formal supervisor)
