Description
Start Date: April 13, 2026
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment; mixed shifts averaging 2-3 weekend shifts per contract period; 7-8 call shifts per 6-week schedule plus 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shifts
Highlights:
- Main OR with diverse surgical specialties including General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal
- State-of-the-art 16-room OR suite with average daily census of 35 cases
- Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management and 2 DaVinci XI robotic systems
- Must have both circulating and scrub experience across multiple specialties
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of OR experience
- Local candidates welcome at the same rate
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of OR experience with both circulating and scrub proficiency
- Experience with general, neurological, orthopedic, robotic, urologic, vascular, and colorectal procedures
- Competency with Epic, Pyxis, and robotic surgical systems preferred
- Two supervisory references from Manager level or above
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Full compliance documentation due by the Tuesday prior to start date
