Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – New Mexico

Start Date: August 3, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 40 hours per week; minimal on-call requirement (weekday evenings and weekends)

Highlights:

Work in a 554-bed Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital with a dedicated Children's Hospital
Advanced imaging capabilities: 4 general rooms, 1 SPECT/CT, and 2 PET/CT scanners
Diverse case mix including diagnostic nuclear medicine, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and therapeutic procedures
13-week assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week; extensions available (minimum 10 weeks)
Experience with all patient populations from neonates to geriatrics; pediatric experience preferred
Cerner charting system; free parking provided

Requirements:

ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
New Mexico State Nuclear Medicine License (or eligible for provisional)
CT licensure or ARRT (CT) preferred; facility will assist with obtaining CT license if pending
Current BLS certification (RQI certifications not accepted)
Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience; first-time travelers accepted
Proficiency in IV starts, phlebotomy, and radioactive material handling
Experience with cardiac imaging, bone scans, HIDA, renograms, and PET/CT procedures
Must reside outside 100-mile radius from facility
COVID vaccine optional; flu vaccine required (exemptions accepted)
