Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, weekdays with up to 2 weekends per month; holiday coverage required within contract period

Highlights:

• Dedicated float position across ICU, Intermediate Care, Stepdown, and Med/Surg units based on patient volume
• 13-week contract with flexibility to accommodate blocked schedule requests if submitted at time of application
• Patient ratios typically 1:5–6, varying by unit and patient acuity
• EPIC EMR system used throughout facility
• Opportunity to develop diverse clinical skills across multiple critical care and acute care environments
• Candidates must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays during the contract

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina or Multistate RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association) required
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience required
• Minimum 2 years travel nursing experience required
• Recent proficiency with EPIC EMR system required
• Skills in Med/Surg, rapid response/code team activation, peripheral line management, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Must reside at least 40 miles from facility location
• All white or all navy scrubs required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
