Description
Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Evening shift – Either 5x8 (2:30pm-11:00pm) OR 2x8 and 2x12 (10:30pm-11:00pm / 2:30pm-11:00pm). Weekend rotation aligns with normal staff requirements. Call duties included for both weekdays and weekends, distributed equitably among all staff members on a 4-week basis. Weekday call begins at 7pm; weekend call divided into 12-hour blocks.
Highlights:
- Work in a Level I Trauma facility specializing in advanced cardiac, vascular, and transplant procedures
- Diverse case mix including CABG, valve replacements, AAA repairs, TAVR, TEVAR, EVAR, and transplant surgeries
- EPIC charting system utilized facility-wide
- Flexible scheduling options with both 8-hour and 12-hour shift combinations
- Exposure to hybrid OR and advanced robotic surgical systems including Da Vinci platforms
- 7-room cardiovascular operating suite focused on heart and vascular interventions
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 3 years overall OR experience
- Minimum 2 years dedicated cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience
- Minimum 1 year CVOR experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma facility
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Proficiency in cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director
