Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room RN – Ohio

Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Mixed shift: 2x8-hour and 2x12-hour shifts per week, evenings (10:30pm-11pm / 2:30pm-11pm). Call hours required equitably distributed on a 4-week rotation basis. Weekday call begins at 7pm; weekend call divided into 12-hour blocks. Schedule flexibility required.

Highlights:

• Specialize in cardiac, vascular, and transplant procedures at a Level I Trauma facility
• Work with a 7-room cardiovascular surgical suite focusing on heart and vascular care
• Advanced case mix including CABG, valve replacements, aortic dissections, TAVR, TEVAR, EVAR, and transplant procedures
• EPIC charting system utilized facility-wide
• Support adults and geriatric patient populations with complex cardiovascular needs
• Exposure to both open and endovascular surgical techniques, including hybrid OR capabilities

Requirements:

• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 3 years overall OR experience
• Minimum 2 years dedicated cardiac and vascular experience
• Minimum 1 year CVOR experience
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
