Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 12-hour day/night rotating shifts; self-scheduling with departmental priorities; weekends variable based on unit needs

Highlights:

• 36-bed medical oncology unit caring for all solid tumor cancers across the full cancer journey
• Staffing ratios goal of 1:4 (may flex to 1:5 based on need)
• Self-scheduling model with shift preferences assessed every 4-week period
• Epic EMR with interdisciplinary team support including pharmacy, respiratory, PT, social services, and rapid response
• 72-hour orientation including first week Monday-Friday dayshift, followed by 36 hours on-unit with preceptor
• Oncology experience preferred but not required for qualified med-surg nurses

Requirements:

• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
• BLS certification required; ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Telemetry interpretation and monitoring experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Ability to float to other medical-surgical oncology units
• 2 professional references including at least one manager or formal leadership reference
