Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Evening shifts with 8- and 12-hour options (07:00-15:30, 07:00-19:30, and 15:00-23:30), rotating every other weekend, 36 hours per week

Highlights:

• Work in a state-of-the-art 83-bed community hospital with a 20-bed emergency department
• Serve a diverse patient population ranging from infants through geriatrics across medical and surgical units
• Utilize Epic charting system and operate autonomously using Respiratory Therapy Protocols
• 40 hours of comprehensive orientation with ongoing interdisciplinary team support
• Free onsite parking and flexible time-off requests available
• One call shift required per 6 weeks of contract

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of experience as a staff Respiratory Therapist
• Both pediatric and adult respiratory care experience required
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma center or similarly sized academic hospital
• Graduate of a COARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Active Wisconsin RCP license (must be in hand at time of application)
• NBRC-RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Competency with Epic charting system preferred
• Previous charge experience and Trauma Level II experience preferred
