Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights/combination); assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on department needs; float to other MedSurg Oncology units as needed; 72 hours orientation provided

Highlights:

• Specialized BMT and Oncology unit serving a diverse patient population including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and other hematologic conditions
• Advanced treatment modalities including autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic stem cell transplants, plus CAR-T therapy
• 36-bed unit with average daily census of 33 patients; Epic charting system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• Mixed acuity progressive care and medical-surgical environment with telemetry monitoring
• Strong focus on infection prevention protocols and patient safety initiatives

Requirements:

• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; at least 1 year of current oncology and medical-surgical experience required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or ONCC Chemotherapy Certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
• Experience with BMT, graft-versus-host disease, graft rejection, stem cell therapies, and sepsis management strongly preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, blood product administration, central line care, port management, and feeding tube care
• Epic charting experience required
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager or director)
