Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 2x8-hour and 2x12-hour shifts per week; flexible scheduling between 6:30 AM and 11:00 PM with call coverage

Highlights:

• Work in a state-of-the-art cardiovascular and thoracic surgery program specializing in heart and vascular care
• Exposure to diverse case mix including CABG, valve replacements, AAA repairs, dissections, TAVR, EVAR, and transplant procedures
• 7-room surgical suite with advanced hybrid OR capabilities and robotic surgery systems
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
• Call schedule distributed equitably on a 4-week rotation basis; weekend call divided into 12-hour blocks
• Level I Trauma center environment with comprehensive interdisciplinary support

Requirements:

• Current RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• 3+ years overall Operating Room experience
• 2+ years dedicated cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience
• 1+ year CVOR experience required
• 1+ year experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Epic charting system experience required
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from formal leadership)
