Job Opportunity – Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist – Virginia

Start Date: April 13, 2026
Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 10-hour days, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, rotating call coverage every 4th week

Highlights:

  • 13-week assignment supporting vascular interventional radiology procedures in the OR
  • Work with advanced Siemens ARTIS PHENO imaging equipment
  • Epic charting system in use
  • 40 hours of paid orientation included
  • One block of pre-approved time off available per contract
  • Trauma Level I experience preferred

Requirements:

  • Virginia state license required (pending acceptable if eligible for temporary license with out-of-state licensure)
  • ARRT (VI) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an imaging technologist
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Must reside outside 50-mile radius of the facility
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
  • Professional references required for submission

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Interventional radiology and hybrid OR experience
  • Special procedures including angioplasty and carotid stenting
  • Siemens equipment proficiency and ultrasound skills
  • Prep access site and vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
  • Thrombolysis/thrombectomy procedures
  • Endovascular interventions, upper and lower extremity angiography
  • EVAR and TEVAR procedures
