Job Opportunity – Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist – Virginia

Start Date: April 13, 2026
Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM; rotating call every 4th week

Highlights:

  • 26-week assignment supporting vascular interventional radiology procedures in the OR
  • Work with advanced Siemens ARTIS PHENO imaging equipment
  • Epic charting system; 40 hours of orientation provided
  • Exposure to complex vascular procedures including angioplasty, carotid stenting, thrombectomy, EVAR, and TEVAR
  • Collaborative team environment with interdisciplinary support
  • One pre-approved time off period available per contract

Requirements:

  • Current ARRT (VI) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Valid Virginia state license required (pending acceptable if currently licensed in another state; temporary license available for eligible candidates)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • Strong skills in interventional radiology, hybrid OR procedures, and special procedures
  • Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose), prep access sites, and ultrasound imaging
  • Familiarity with Siemens equipment preferred
  • Trauma Level I experience preferred
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
