Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Technologist – Virginia
Start Date: April 13, 2026
Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, rotating call coverage every 4th week
Highlights:
- 26-week contract in advanced vascular interventional radiology
- Imaging support role in the OR working with vascular IR procedures
- Hands-on experience with Siemens ARTIS PHENO equipment
- Epic charting system in use
- 40 hours of paid orientation
- One block of pre-approved time off available during contract
Requirements:
- ARRT (VI) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Valid Virginia state license (or eligible for temporary license with active out-of-state licensure)
- Minimum 2 years of imaging tech experience
- Epic charting experience required
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Proficiency in interventional radiology, hybrid OR procedures, special procedures, angioplasty, carotid stenting, ultrasound, vascular closure systems, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and endovascular interventions
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
