Job Opportunity – CVOR RN – New Jersey

Start Date: April 27, 2026
Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week travel assignment with on-call requirements (32 hours per month, approximately 1 weekend per month with 24-hour call both days)

Highlights:

  • Cardiovascular OR specializing in adult open heart surgery including CABG, valve replacements (aortic, mitral, and pulmonic)
  • Advanced procedures including TAVR, ECMO, laser lead extractions, and experience with Impella and HeartMate devices
  • Both scrub and circulate responsibilities for open CVOR cases; TAVR experience highly preferred
  • EPIC charting system; scrubs provided
  • May float to Main OR if no CVOR cases during shift
  • Locals accepted; travel experience highly preferred but will consider first-time travelers

Requirements:

  • Active New Jersey or Compact State RN license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 3 years of CVOR nursing experience
  • BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
  • Scrub experience required for open CVOR cases
  • Circulate and TAVR experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Impella and HeartMate devices preferred
  • Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays
  • Any requested time off or schedule accommodations must be submitted and approved before offer acceptance
