Description
Job Opportunity – Travel RN Medical-Surgical / Telemetry / PCU – Georgia
Start Date: April 13, 2026
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 or 48-hour guarantee; every other weekend (average 6 weekends per 13-week contract); floating required to all MS, MS/Tele, and PCU units
Highlights:
- Float position across Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care units
- Patient ratios of 1:4-5 for PCU and 1:5-6 for MS/MS Tele
- Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, lift teams, and pharmacy
- Up to 7 days of requested time off available
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience
Requirements:
- Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
- Epic charting experience required
- Experience with patient ratios of 1:5-6 MS/Tele and 1:3-4 PCU preferred
- Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred
- Must be available to complete compliance documents and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
