Description
Start Date: April 22, 2026
Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: First shift, Monday–Friday, 5x8 hours/day with staggered start times between 0700–0830; weekend and evening/night on-call rotation required
Highlights:
- Perform 13–17 interventional procedures daily across neuro (including stroke intervention) and body procedures
- Advanced IR skill set required: angiograms, stents, angioplasty, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, and vascular/neurological studies
- Work with Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment; experience with contrast and PACS systems essential
- Primary and backup on-call rotation; comprehensive orientation provided during week one
- Scrubs provided; patient population includes adults, geriatrics, and some adolescents
- 13-week travel assignment with competitive benefits for experienced travelers
Requirements:
- ARRT(R) and BLS certification required; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience in an inpatient hospital setting
- Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Demonstrated competency in neuro and stroke IR procedures (hard requirement)
- Minimum 1 year scrub experience, including neuro procedures
- Proficiency with Siemens and Phillips equipment; experience with contrast administration and PACS
- Epic and McKesson charting system experience preferred
- North Carolina or Compact state license required at start
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
