Schedule: 13–20 week extension assignment. 72-hour orientation provided. Weekend shifts vary based on unit needs. Float required to other Oncology Med-Surg and PCU units.

Highlights:

• Mixed assignment: some shifts PCU (1:3 ratio), some shifts Med-Surg (1:4–5 ratio)
• 36-bed oncology and medical unit with daily census of 36
• Epic EMR charting system required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Rapid Response, Pharmacy, Respiratory, and Physical Therapy
• Specialized unit requiring security clearance; strict compliance and fingerprinting process in Ohio
• One pre-approved time off request permitted with submission

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; at least 1 year current specialty experience required
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Valid Compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• Epic charting experience required; previous charge experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• 2 professional references required: 1 manager/director level, 1 charge RN acceptable
• Current travel experience with demonstrated competency in insulin drips, arterial line management, port access, pre/post neurosurgery care, chemotherapy monitoring, chest tubes, central line management, IV management, heparin protocols, cardiac drips, PCA pumps, BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy care, and ABG interpretation
