Location: Torrance, California

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Flexible scheduling with weekend availability required; 24-hour orientation; float to Mother/Baby unit as needed

Highlights:

• 356-bed acute care hospital delivering 210-240 births monthly
• Epic charting system with 22-room Labor & Delivery unit
• AWHONN standard patient ratios: 1:1 for active labor, maximum 2:1 for early labor
• Care for low and high-risk labor patients including multiples, hypertensive disorders, and diabetic conditions
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response, and pharmacy

Requirements:

• Active California RN license in hand prior to submission
• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced (or C-EFM as substitute), BLS, NRP
• Telemetry interpretation skills required
• Ability to scrub and circulate for cesarean sections
• Experience with circulating and recovering cesarean sections, postpartum D&C procedures
• Precepting skills strongly preferred
• Willingness to float to Mother/Baby unit and potentially other facility locations
• LA County fire card required within 30 days prior to start
