Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights); assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on departmental needs

Highlights:

• Specialized BMT and Hematology-Oncology unit with mixed acuity PCU and Medical-Surgical care
• Comprehensive patient population including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and CAR-T therapy patients
• Advanced transplant services: autologous, allogeneic, and syngeneic transplants performed on-site
• Epic EMR charting system with 72 hours of orientation provided
• 36-bed unit with daily census of 33 patients and robust interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, rapid response, and therapy services
• Float opportunities limited to other Medical-Surgical Oncology units within the system

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year of current specialty experience
• Medical-Surgical and Oncology experience required (minimum 1 year each documented in checklist)
• Hematology-Oncology experience strongly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• ONS Chemotherapy Certification and Oncology Certification preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, blood product administration, central/PICC line management, and port care
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references: one must be from a manager/director or formal leadership; charge nurse acceptable for second reference
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
