Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-hour shifts | Call coverage per unit needs | Weekend rotation required

Highlights:

• Multi-specialty Operating Room with average of 40 cases daily across diverse surgical specialties including trauma, robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and more
• Advanced technology environment featuring Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system and minimally invasive techniques
• Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Patient population includes adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics with 1:1 patient ratio
• Comprehensive 40-hour orientation with interdisciplinary support from pharmacy, radiology, respiratory services, and transportation
• Cerner charting system experience preferred; first-time travelers welcome

Requirements:

• Valid Maryland or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS preferred
• 16-hour Maryland-approved trauma course required by 27th week of assignment
• 8-hour annual trauma CEUs required
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Proficiency in multiple surgical specialties including trauma, ENT, colorectal, plastics, neurosurgery, surgical oncology, laparoscopic procedures, urology, ophthalmology, GYN, general surgery, orthopedics, robotics, vascular, and thoracic procedures
• Experience with cell saver, Hana table, blood administration, cardiac monitoring, laser safety, radiation safety, and wound management
