Location: Hackensack, New Jersey

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM to 6:00 PM); holidays as needed; on-call every 4-5th weekend (Friday-Sunday) and approximately 3-4 call shifts per month

Highlights:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care in a dynamic Interventional Radiology setting
• Work with advanced bar-scanning medication administration and electronic documentation systems
• Assist with IR procedures performed in Interventional Radiology, CT Scan, and Ultrasound suites
• Manage complex patients including those requiring conscious sedation, ventilator support, and titration of IV drips
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team focused on patient-centered care and safe transitions
• Utilize cutting-edge technology and point-of-care electronic charting systems

Requirements:

• Active NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• 2-3 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• Acute care experience with ability to manage ventilated patients and titrate drips
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association) required
• Experience with conscious sedation protocols
