Location: Jackson, Tennessee

Schedule: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; 2:1 patient ratio across all shifts; must be available to work Memorial Day

Highlights:

• Busy Neuro ICU with 9-bed unit specializing in post-TPA, post-surgical, stroke, and complex neurological patients
• Epic EMR system; comprehensive 36-hour orientation provided
• Required to float to other ICUs, Med/Surg/Tele, and Progressive Care units as needed
• Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• Local candidates and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate
• Opportunity to work with advanced neuro equipment including EVD, ICP monitoring, and hypothermia protocols

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee or Compact RN license required at submission
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg/Tele experience; 2 years ICU experience preferred
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience within the last 12 months is mandatory and must be detailed on submission; competency exam required
• Experience with 2:1 patient ratios and critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, and neuro assessments
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Ability and willingness to float to other units with no exceptions
