Description

Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Kansas

Start Date: April 13, 2026
Location: Topeka, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Weekend schedule: Sunday, Friday, Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts). Call requirements include weeknight coverage.

Highlights:

13-week assignment at a Level II Trauma Center
Diverse surgical case mix including routine, urgent, and trauma procedures
Epic EMR system in use
Overtime begins at 48 hours if scheduled
Pre-operative and post-operative patient care responsibilities
Strong circulator skills required for immediate impact

Requirements:

Current Kansas RN license
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Previous travel nursing experience required – no first-time travelers
Strong circulating experience in the operating room
Ability to independently manage responsibilities from day one
