Description
Start Date: May 4, 2026
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, every other weekend required
Highlights:
- Work with diverse pediatric populations including neonates, infants, and children across NICU, PICU, and acute pediatric units
- Primary placement in Labor & Delivery with pediatric critical care responsibilities
- Utilize Cerner EMR system in a progressive care environment
- Flexibility to float between NICU, PICU, and Pediatric Acute Care based on facility needs
- First-time travelers welcome with appropriate pediatric experience
- Opportunity to work with specialized equipment including Nitric Oxide, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and advanced aerosol delivery systems
Requirements:
- Active Indiana state license (temporary accepted if permanent application is in progress)
- NBRC RRT certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NRP certification (required for L&D assignments; can be obtained after offer)
- PALS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
- Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years strongly preferred (Level I adult trauma facility experience may be considered)
- Labor & Delivery respiratory experience required
- Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
