Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and some holiday coverage required

• 2:1 patient ratios across all shifts with specialized neuro patient population including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and post-neurosurgery patients
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy
• Specialized care environment featuring advanced monitoring including EVD, lumbar drains, CereLink monitors, and ICP monitoring
• Opportunity to work with a collaborative team of nationally certified physicians and experienced critical care nursing staff
• Experience with advanced interventions including hemodynamic monitoring, hypothermia protocols, and management of complex neurological conditions

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state license (must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience within the past 3 years in specialty area
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Required experience with ICP monitoring or ventricular drains (EVD)
• Basic Arrhythmia experience required; must pass telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to start
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
