Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 12-hour shifts (1900-0730), every other weekend and some holidays required

• Comprehensive Stroke Center specializing in critically ill adult patients with neuro diagnoses including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and post-neurosurgery care
• 2:1 patient ratio across all shifts with strong interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system with specialized equipment including EVD, lumbar drains, and CereLink monitoring
• Collaborate with nationally certified physicians in a nurse-driven, team-oriented environment
• Experience with advanced interventions including hemodynamic monitoring, hypothermia protocol, and dysrhythmia management

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact license (must be in hand at submittal)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the past 3 years in this specialty
• Required experience with ICP or ventricular drain management
• Epic charting system experience required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Basic Arrhythmia experience and must pass telemetry examination prior to start (strict passing criteria apply)
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
