Description
Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts; every other weekend required
Highlights:
- Primary placement in Labor & Delivery with NICU and Pediatric Acute Care assignments
- Float rotation includes PICU and Pediatric Acute Care units based on facility needs
- Minimum 2 years pediatric respiratory therapy experience required
- Cerner charting system preferred; comprehensive orientation provided
- First-time travelers accepted; children's hospital experience within the last 3 years strongly preferred
- Opportunity to work with neonates, infants, and pediatric patient populations
Requirements:
- Indiana State Respiratory Therapist License (must be in hand prior to submission)
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
- PALS preferred (may be required depending on unit assignment)
- Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
- Minimum 2 years NICU experience required; L&D experience strongly preferred
- Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years required, or experience in a Level I adult trauma facility
- Flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions only)
- Two supervisor references required
